Craft beer fans rejoice: the former Nowhereman brewery and taproom in West Leederville has reopened as ‘Otherside of Nowhere’ in the latest of Otherside Brewing Co’s recent venue expansions.
Otherside of Nowhere - one of many names shortlisted – was repurposed from an original collaboration product between the two breweries, and was ultimately selected by Nowhereman and Otherside supporters.
Following the merger of the two businesses, which was first announced in November 2023, the venue has undergone a number of upgrades, including external painting and signage, a revamped food menu, internal layout changes, installation of dedicated Otherside Tycoon membership bricks, a live music program, and of course, fresh Otherside brews.
Otherside of Nowhere will continue to operate from Wednesday to Sunday each week, with scheduled activity and special offers to include a regular Thursday pub quiz, Friday night vinyl DJs, food and beer pairings, and much more.
“Otherside of Nowhere is just as much an authentic Otherside experience as it is a nod to the institution Nowhereman built in West Leederville.” said Braden Loader, General Manager of Otherside Brewing.
“We worked with the Nowhereman crew every step of the way, and you’ll find a number of easter eggs in the venue which celebrate the brewery and its fans – some being the commemorative Nowhereman Tycoon bricks on the brewery walls, the re-released Rhapsody XPA, and of course, their famous hop icon.”
James Legge, Managing Director of Triple 1 Three added “We’re thrilled to formally announce the venue name change and join the West Leederville community. It’s especially exciting to have a central location for our Otherside fans and Tycoon members to call their own.”
“While our initial priority was to rebrand and refresh the venue, we’re looking forward to engaging the wider network of residents and businesses in the area and welcoming them down for drink, to try the new food menu, and to check out the changes we have made so far.”
Following the rebranding, the venue plans to construct a dedicated children’s area, an outdoor alfresco, and an integrated retail and takeaway space in the coming months.
